Nottingham’s tram network puts towns in the north of the City within easy reach of the city centre. The trams are frequent as well, with one every 12 minutes or better, and up to 16 services per hour running on the city centre section of the line.
The tram network currently extends from the City centre serving Leen Valley, Old Basford, Bulwell and Bulwell Forest through to Hucknall. Now there are also two new lines from Nottingham train station, the first out to Beeston in the west and the second to Clifton in the south of the City. Nottingham boasts 51 tram stops, 7 park and ride sites, serving 1,270 workplaces including 20 of Nottingham’s 30 largest employers.
