Whether it’s walking for pleasure, walking for health or walking to learn about nature, walking is free and keeps you fit and healthy. There are plenty of local walking groups and activities to get involved with.

TravelRight Accessible Walks

A new TravelRight initiative! These monthly, easy paced walks have been designed to help wheelchair users, their carers and relatives discover the best accessible walking routes in the area, as well as to make friends and share experiences of walking with wheelchairs.

Meet at Bulwell Riverside at 11am. Tuesday 16 September, Tuesday 14 October, Tuesday 11 November

DON’T MISS! Halloween Trail

Join us on 31 October for a fancy dress parade from Sixways Community Centre. We will lead you through the park to a secret location for a massive spooky event with loads of fun and games including laser quest.

Bring torches and sensible footwear. All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult whilst on the parade. This event is totally free and there will be prizes for the best fancy dress outfit.

Meet at Sixways at 4pm – the event will finish at 8.30pm.
