Come and learn about the history of your area and share your own experiences in a series of walks, talks, bike rides and bus rides.
This spring we are proud to reveal to you our two specially commissioned historical walking and cycling guides to Bilborough, Beechdale, Strelley, Aspley, Broxtowe and Cinderhill. ‘Garden City’ and ‘A New World’ present historical information about the area’s most significant landmarks, buildings and landscapes. They are fully illustrated with an easy to use map and key to the sites.

Join us in the beautiful setting of Bilborough St John’s church for a talk about the history of the area including specially sourced archive film footage. Refreshments provided.

Join us for a historical cycling tour which will introduce several of the sites of interest listed in the cycling guide.

Hyson Green to Bobbers Mill and Whitemoor: A Heritage Trail
Take a stroll with historian and archivist Chris Weir into an area rich with heritage and community spirit.

History on the Bus
Explore the history of the number 35 bus route from the top deck of a double decker with Nottingham historian Robert Howard.
Meet at Bulwell Bus Station at 11am to receive your free bus ticket for the tour. Saturday 24 May.
